How do I commission a custom piece or get a quote?

Simply send me an email at bk@garagegoods.net or get in touch via the contact form. Please include as much detail as possible so I can give you an accurate estimate. 

I want something custom-built but am not sure what I want it to look like, can you help?

Absolutely! I'd be happy to walk you through the process of choosing form, function, material, finish etc. Once I have an idea of what you're looking for, I will provide a computer rendering to be sure we're on the same page before the sawdust starts flying.

Do you offer CNC services?

Yes, I charge on an hourly basis for machine operation in addition to design time and materials (if not provided). Additional services such as sanding, painting and assembly are also available. Please get in touch regarding the specifics of your project. 

When will my custom piece arrive?

The lead time is generally 4-8 weeks from deposit to delivery, depending on the scope of your project and how many commissions I am currently working on and shipping times. This time frame may additionally vary if engagement with a third party vendor, such as a metal fabricator or upholsterer, is necessary. If you need something rushed, please get in touch and I will do my best to accommodate you. 

Shipping

Shipping is available and will be quoted after the order is placed.

If you are in the Portland area, I can hand deliver pieces or I can give you details on how to pick up from me. 

Warranty

I stand 100% behind the quality and integrity of my work. Should your furniture fail during the lifetime of the original owner due to defects in material or craftsmanship I will repair or replace the piece.

If for whatever reason you aren't completely satisfied with your custom piece, please let me know and I'll do whatever it takes to make it right.

Please be sure to provide accurate measurements (when applicable) as incorrect measurements will not constitute grounds for a refund. Damage to your piece occurring after delivery, environmental damage or improper storage are not grounds for refund.

Returns

Due to the custom nature of our furniture, returns or exchanges are not possible. Once an order has been placed you have 24 hours to cancel. If there is damage to your product due to shipping please contact me immediately to file a claim. No shipping related claims can be made after 48 hours from delivery.
